Group Charitable Donations Commitment
Man Group plc contributes to the Charitable Trust based on the following formula:

• 2.5% of performance fee income: plus
• 0.25% of management fee income.

Subject to a minimum set at 0.5% of the Group's before tax profit.

The lower commitment reflects the Group's reduced profitability during the financial year.

Group Charitable Donations
A total of $10.1 million was donated by the Charitable Trust during the financial year.

Employee Give As You Earn
Year-on-year the average number of donors has increased by 61% and now represents 25% of the total UK permanent headcount.

We donated to charities of the following categories:

• Young People – Disadvantaged (Providing help to those in need)
• Young People – Arts (To encourage enjoyment, participation and appreciation of the Arts)
• Young People – Sport (Initiatives to improve physical skills, health and to develop self-confidence)
• Young People – Education (Support for education and excellence in academia)
• Literacy (Improving and encouraging literacy for all ages)
• Vulnerable (Helping the elderly, the disabled and those suffering from mental illness and from abuse)
• International (Including disaster relief, humanitarian aid, poverty and health)
• The Arts and Culture (Support for the Arts)
• Medical (Specialised research and caring for the sick)
• Environment
• Other
